If you have submitted a maintenance work order before, you may proceed directly to the online work order form.
If this is your first time, please read the following helpful tips.
How to Get Started
Each time you enter the work order website, you will first be asked to identify yourself with your e-mail address.
If your identity is already on file, you will then proceed directly to the work order form itself.
If you are new to the system, you will see the following message:
Once you have entered your last name, you will then be asked to enter your first name. Following this step, the system will remember who you are for future work order submissions.
How to Fill Out the Form
Please note: Any field marked with a checkmark is a required field.
Step 1 This will be filled in with your information from the email address you entered at the sign in screen.
Step 2 Click on the drop down arrow and highlight a Location where you want the work to be done and click the mouse. Please note, the form will "remember" your building location based on your login, you will need to Change Location if you are making a request for somewhere else on campus.
- Follow the same steps for Building and Area.
- Also be sure to type in your Area description or Room Number.
Step 3 Select the icon that best describes your problem and click on it.
Step 4 Type in your description of the problem.
Step 5 Click on the drop down arrow and select a purpose code.
Step 6 Click the Attach New File link to attach a photo or document detailing the issue.
Step 7 Type in the submittal password: necmusic
Step 8 Click submit.
You're done! Your work order is now being reviewed by NEC's Operations & Facilities team. You will be able to log in to review progress of your request.
My Request Tab
After you click submit on the request form, the screen will refresh to the My Request Tab.
On this screen you will see up-to-date information on your request including:
- Work order number for referencing
- The date you requested the work
- Any Action Taken notes added by the technician on the progress of the work order
- And a Completion Date once the work has been completed
In the Request Totals section (on the right hand side of your screen), you can click on the number next to the status description to see all requests marked with that status.
You can search for any work order request by typing in a key word in the Search box and clicking on GO. This will pull up any of your requests with that word in it. (Example: "keys" would pull up any request dealing with keys.)
Click on the Work Request Tab to input a new request.
