Baritone Thomas Hampson, returns to NEC to lead today's masterclass. Recently honored as a Metropolitan Opera Guild “Met Mastersinger,” he has been praised by the New York Times for his “ceaseless curiosity” and is one of the most respected, innovative, and sought-after soloists performing today.

During today's masterclass Hampson will work with current NEC students and will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Music degree from New England Conservatory.
