African American SU

Mission Statement

The motivation of the African-American Student Union of NEC is to create a forum for the New England Conservatory students of African descent to voice their ideas and goals. We will share with the greater NEC community elements of the African and African American experience by way of concerts, lectures, panel discussions and educational workshops. This organization continues the tradition of NEC’s historic Afro-American Studies Department.
