Learn ensemble playing from Cleveland Orchestra veteran and brass pedagogue, Eli Epstein. With his upbeat, positive approach to music making, Mr. Epstein provides experiences that promote high levels of musicianship, enhance brass playing technique, develop listening skills, encourage emotional expression and address interpersonal and performance issues. This fun, energizing ensemble experience is open by audition to high school and middle school brass players.
Rehearsals: Saturday, 10:00–11:30 a.m.
Auditions: Students interested in auditioning for YBE can call 617-585-1130 after August 15, 2011 to sign up for an audition. Auditions will take place in September 10, 2011

Join YBE for Brass Fest 2011 on May 28, 2011
Is there a pre-College or College-age brass musician in your household who would like to work with the best brass musicians around? They're invited to join us for a day of clinics, readings, and performances with some of the region's top brass performers, including Boston Symphony Orchestra members who teach at NEC. The day's activities are coordinated by NEC's Preparatory School brass chair, Eli Epstein.
