Open by audition to intermediate players. This ensemble specializes in Renaissance and Baroque wind instrumental music written between the years of 1500 and 1750. Students play their own modern instruments, and the parts are transposed from the origional scores. While there are no specific age guidelines for this ensemble, most members are in grades 7-12.

Seating Auditions: September 10 & 11, 2011
Seating auditions are 7 minutes long and can be scheduled after August 15, by logging into your account online.
Seating audition requirements: Prepare two solo works or two movements from the same work that represent contrasting styles. This usually means a fast, technical piece and a slower, more lyrical piece.
