NEC Preparatory School offers a number of different choral experiences:
- Youth Chorale is a full SATB choir for high school students, admission is by audition.
- Youth Camerata is a smaller SATB choir comprised of members of the Youth Chorale, selected by audition.
- Young Women's Chorale is a select intermediate ensemble comprised of sopranos and altos in grades 8-10.
- The Children's Chorus program includes three groups for singers with unchanged treble voices: Preparatory Chorus, Children's Chorus, and Chamber Chorus.
Chorus Auditions
Please note that our Spring/May auditions have come to an end. However, if you missed our auditions and are interested in joining for the 2013-2014 Academic Year, we would still love to hear you. Please call our offices at (617) 585-1160 or prep@necmusic.edu to arrange for a placement audition time. We would be happy to invite you to join the NEC family.
