New England Conservatory piano chair Bruce Brubaker invites the public to join NEC students in exploring the challenges and complexities that pianists face in the world today, through presentations and masterclasses by guest artists and NEC faculty.

Charles Fisk, Professor of Music at Wellesley College, leads this morning's seminar titled "‪A Schubertian World: the Sonata in A Major, D.959." Fisk, who has been teaching at Wellesley for over 30 years is "Engaged in thinking and writing about the repertoire I perform as a pianist, and psychological and philosophical issues in music."
