NEC Voice and Sound Analysis Lab - Open House
Especially interesting for Vocal Performance and Pedagogy majors but all are welcome.
Learn about technology available at NEC for the analysis of singers (both live and from recordings).
Observe and measure vibrato, legato, resonance, ring, registration, and more;
See your sound!  Drop-ins welcome anytime between 2:30 -5:30.

Learn about brewing and taste some samples from the Boston Beer Company. We will travel by subway to the brewery for this free tour and tasting. Sign-up at the Student Activities Center.

A jam session for all new students majoring in jazz performance. Jazz Composition, CI, and Classical majors are welcome to participate, time permitting. Bring your instrument. Guitar and bass amplifiers and a vocal P.A. will be provided. All are invited to come and listen.
