Praised for her “unusual but alluring timbre” (BachTrack) and “robust singing,” soprano Erica Petrocelli '14, '16 MM, '18 AD began her 2017-2018 season with two performances in concert, both in NEC’s Jordan Hall: the first being Tchaikovsky’s The Maid of Orleans with Odyssey Opera, where she sang the role of Agnes Sorel. Next, in October, she performed Lia in Debussy’s L’enfant prodigue with New England Conservatory to start her final year in the Artist Diploma Program. Other notable roles at NEC include the title roles in Massenet's Cendrillon and Janacek's The Cunning Little Vixen.

Ms. Petrocelli studies with tenor Bradley Williams as an Artist Diploma student at New England Conservatory, where she also received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees, and is the recipient of the Wendy Shattuck '75 Presidential Scholarship Fund for Vocal Studies.
