Steven Lipsitt, Music Director of Boston Classical Orchestra, guest conducts the NEC Symphony in music from stage works by Britten, Verdi, Wagner and de Falla. The concert includes all of de Falla's Three Cornered Hat. Lipsitt has guest conducted Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Ballet, Boston Pops and was the winner of the inaugural (1996) Dimitris Mitropoulos International Conducting Competition.
