NEC says "Thank you, Boston" all year with its "NEC Prep Presents" concerts. Free admission to these concerts by senior Prep ensembles marks our gratitude for the support of the City of Boston and the parents, siblings, schools, and music teachers who make our work possible.

The Melba Sandberg Memorial Concert

NEC Preparatory School's Youth Repertory Orchestra conducted by Jane Ezbicki and String Chamber Orchestra conducted by Peter Jarvis perform end of the year concert in honor of the late Melba Sandberg, who taught and conducted ensembles at NEC for 20 years.
 
The Melba Sandberg Memorial Concert New England Conservatory is honored to thank The Michael and Helen Schaffer Foundation for its leadership commitment to establishing an annual concert in memory of Melba Sandberg and supporting current use scholarships for students in NEC’s Preparatory School.
