Ernest Triplett, Jr. '61, an NEC Outstanding Alumni Award recipient, founded and was a mainstay of Associate Artist Opera Company, the main progenitor of today's Boston Lyric Opera. At that time, he was the only black director of a union-affiliated professional opera company.

On the 50th anniversary of his graduation from NEC, Triplett returns to his alma mater to share his reflections on a life-long career in music making.
