Great artists give free concerts at New England Conservatory—simply because they teach here.

Bass-baritone Rupert Bergmann, violinist Katharina Bergmann-Radlberger, cellist Susanne Friedrich of the NEC faculty, and pianist William Merrill debut their "High strings - low voice" performance at Jordan Hall. The quartet will play cherished old pieces as well as exciting new works written exclusively for them. After their initial recital, the group will take "High strings - low voice" to other concert halls in North America and Europe.
