Chefs Kurt Gutenbrunner and Laurent Poulain will together create and execute the menu of regional specialties for NEC’s Danube-themed A Feast of Music 2015, our annual scholarship fundraising gala.

Brought back by popular acclaim, renowned Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner is returning to design and execute the menu for our Danube-themed Feast, after his superb appearance as Celebrity Chef of our 2012 Viennese-themed gala. Kurt is chef/owner of New York City's Wallse, Cafe Sabarsky in the Neue Galerie, Blaue Gans, The Upholstery Store, and Cafe Kristall. He has earned abundant praise for his modern interpretation of Austrian cuisine and his seamless integration of food and art. He is the author of Neue Cuisine, the Elegant Tastes of Vienna. Kurt is also a member of NEC's Board of Overseers, having joined after his star turn as Chef in 2012.

For A Feast of Music 2015, Chef Gutenbrunner will be joined by Laurent Poulain, Executive Chef at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston. Chef Poulain has worked on A Feast of Music for many years and last year he created a wonderful menu for El Festin de la Musica 2014.
