Julianne Lee is quickly carving a distinctive career as both a violinist and violist with the additional versatility as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. A member of the Boston Symphony since 2006, she is a recipient of the Presser Award, and recently she has toured with the Marlboro Music Festival as well as the Australian Chamber Orchestra as Guest Principal Violist. In the past summers she has been invited to perform at numerous music festivals including the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, Chamber music at the Banff Centre, Salt Bay Chamberfest and the Marlboro Music Festival. Her future engagements include concerts in Singapore with her chamber group Zara, and a US tour with the Australian Chamber Orchestra as Guest Principal Second Violinist.

Lee graduated with an unanimous First prize at the Conservatoire Superieur de Paris in France. In her free time she enjoys to cook and explore different styles of music.
