New England Conservatory music theory faculty pay tribute to their recently deceased colleague F. John Adams by sharing memories, listening to excerpts of his performances, watching virtual display of his archive, and singing his favorite repertoire used in Solfège classes.

Adams was a distinguished conductor, professor, and dear member of the NEC community. We invite the audience to join NEC faculty and students in singing and sharing memories. The following scores will be available at the entrance of Williams Hall:

Guillaume Dufay Ave regina caelorum
Tomas Luis de Victoria O quam gloriosum est regnum
Josquin des Prez Alma redemptoris mater
Hans Leo Hassler Ad dominum cum tribularer
