First Monday at Jordan Hall: Debussy, Mozart, Shostakovich

First Mondays at Jordan Hall are brilliant with music, performed by some of the world’s best chamber musicians. First Mondays are fresh and full of imaginative pairings of well-loved classics and new work. They’re in Jordan Hall, one of the finest places on the planet to hear music of this caliber. Oh, and First Mondays are free.

This season, First Monday celebrates the life and works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Every concert includes great compositions by Mozart and/or works related to him. We’ve always liked celebrating composer anniversaries, with this season also featuring Enrique Granados and Leonard Bernstein. But Mozart? Well, we think every year is his anniversary - even if the dates don’t fit, he’s a man for all the ages!
