Ensemble: Vasari String Quartet

Artists: Brian Hong (Violin), Harriet Langley (Violin), Jing Peng (Viola), Alexander Hersh (Cello)

Each year, an audition committee of professional musicians selects a few exceptional student ensembles to represent the NEC Honors Ensemble Program. The ensembles work with a faculty coach and are given an opportunity to perform a spring recital in NEC's Jordan Hall.

Vasari String Quartet is composed of violinists Harriet Langley and Brian Hong, violist Jing Peng, and cellist Alexander Hersh. Their faculty coach is Kim Kashkashian.

The group's program includes a new work by fellow student Samuel Taylor, who is completing his bachelor's degree.
