Boston GuitarFest 2014, conceived by artistic director Eliot Fisk, embarks on an "American Odyssey" this year.

Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) and conductor Gil Rose join soloists Zaira Meneses and Eliot Fisk for Joaquín Rodrigo's classic Concierto de Aranjuez; the Boston premiere of Robert Beaser's Guitar Concerto; and the world premiere of Anthony Paul De Ritis's Pop Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra, based on songs by Seal, Alanis Morissette, U2, Michael Jackson.
