Great artists give free concerts at New England Conservatory—simply because they teach here.

Cellist Eugene Kim, a member of NEC's Preparatory School faculty, has performed widely as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra principal. Today he shares the stage with several of his favorite colleagues: Jin-Kyung Joen, violin (NEC Prep faculty and Kim's wife—in photo); Aline Benoit, clarinet; Eunyoung Kim, piano; Yun Lee, piano.

The Program:

Dvorak Four Romantic Pieces, Op. 75, for violin and piano

Brahms Sonata in G Major, Op. 78, for violin and piano

Dvorak Rondo and Silent Woods for cello and piano

Brahms Clarinet Trio in A Minor, Op. 114
