Singers from the Graduate Opera Department will present an hour-long performance of George Bizet’s comedy Dr. Miracle for visiting schoolchildren. This special kid-friendly program will include a short introduction to operatic voice types, a 40-minute performance of the opera, sung in English, and a question and answer session with the cast following the performance. This same production will tour to seven additional schools in the Boston area between November 1st-December 2nd, and will reach over 1,000 children in the Boston, Quincy, Rockport, and Gloucester Public Schools.
