A no fuss guide to tackling your personal finances--everything from budgeting 101, to taxes and dealing with loans and long-term savings. Come armed with questions and get clear eyed answers that will help you create a strategy for meeting your financial goals. Entrepreneurial Musicianship faculty Tanya Kalmanovitch and EM Director Rachel Roberts will lead this session--fair warning, spreadsheets will be involved.
A leading faculty voice in New England Conservatory’s Department of Entrepreneurial Musicianship, Tanya Kalmanovitch lectures on professional development for musicians, creative self-actualization and the moral imperative of the arts in 21st century global society. Appointed by President Tony Woodcock in 2009 as Founder and Director of NEC's Entrepreneurial Musicianship department, Rachel Roberts was charged with designing and leading a major new initiative that would equip young musicians with key extra-musical skills to support their artistic careers. Over the last three years, Rachel has launched a wide range of experiential programs and curricula, including a signature grant initiative, courses on arts entrepreneurship, fellowships, creative performance projects, and more.
