Nathan Landes '10 M.M., '11 M.M, has been accepted for the PhD program in musicology at Indiana University with a Graduate Assistantship and Associate Instructorship. Nathan earned two masters degrees at NEC, in bassoon and musicology. and a bachelors degree from Oberlin. 2012-04-09
The NEC percussion ensemble, led by Frank Epstein is joining forces with
alumna Zenas Kim '09 to play Dr. Osnat Netzer's '11 D.M.A piece
"Weeding the Mountain" for trombone and three percussion players. Zenas
has spent the last couple of years
living in the Netherlands and South Korea, and is coming to Boston
especially for the North American premiere of this piece. Zenas
commissioned this work and premiered it in South Korea with members of
