It will be critical for NEC’s sustainability that the Conservatory generate new and enhanced revenue streams to support the main Plan initiatives. NEC is currently investigating a variety of creative ideas for new revenue that, along with increased philanthropic support, will permit the plan’s realization:
- Increased enrollment in the School of Continuing Education;
- Increased enrollment in the Preparatory School;
- Doubling the capacity of the dormitory;
- Licensing recorded music;
- Other creative ideas.
