Piano. This uniquely flexible keyboard instrument is used in solo or ensemble venues in a wide variety of scenarios: jazz, cocktail, standards, light pop, showtunes, 40s & 50s hits, recitals, concertos, etc.
Harp. One of the oldest instruments; its sound is light and often associated with heavenly imagery. Has a very elegant, stately appearance.
Guitar. A popular instrument for both classical music (particularly among Spanish composers) or jazz; it can be used as a solo instrument (acoustic or amplified) or in a group.
