The NEC Undergraduate Diploma provides intensive studio instruction during three years of study in instrumental performance, vocal performance, or composition. Students register for repertoire coaching, ensemble, chamber music, and course work related to their major. The educational prerequisite for entry into the Undergraduate Diploma is a high school diploma. Audition standards are higher than those for the Bachelor of Music program.

Please note that the Undergraduate Diploma is not a degree and does not typically qualify students for entry into graduate degree programs.
