Great artists give free concerts at New England Conservatory—simply because they teach here.

NEC Jazz Lab is a one week jazz intensive, where students aged 14-18 work with our premier jazz faculty and participate in a week full of improvisation, small group training, jam sessions, entrepreneurial workshops and college audition prep. Special guest artists Dominique Eade, Ken Schaphorst, Joe Morris, and Rakalam Bob Moses.

Vocalist Dominique Eade was the first "Third Stream" artist to graduate from NEC's Artist Diploma program. As a member of NEC's jazz and Contemporary Improvisation faculties, she has mentored countless improvising vocalists since the 1980s.
