Wagner at NEC

On Wednesday, December 10, 2014, New England Conservatory will present a gala performance of Act III of Richard Wagner’s Die Walküre in Jordan Hall to benefit NEC’s new Student Life and Performance Center. Jane Eaglen and Greer Grimsley, two of the finest Wagnerian singers in existence, have volunteered their services. Robert Spano will serve as Guest Conductor of NEC’s Philharmonia Orchestra and NEC opera students will perform in other roles. It is truly a unique opportunity to hear Metropolitan Opera stars sing from the Ring Cycle in Boston and especially in Jordan Hall!
