This collection is organized into the following four series:

  1. Correspondence
  2. Memorabilia
  3. Photographs
  4. Documents

The Correspondence series consists of letters from Hille’s teacher, Charles Dennee to Hille. The letters are dated from 1907, 1909, and a few are undated. The donation letter for this collection is also included in this folder.

Memorabilia is organized into two folders.  The first contains invitations and programs for various events including Class Day, Commencement, and the Alumni Association reception, all from 1910. The second folder contains a few other pieces of NEC memorabilia.

The Photographs series contains only one photograph of Marie Charles Hille, taken while she was a student in Boston.

The last series consists of three documents: Hille’s diploma from New England Conservatory; a Certificate documenting Hille’s completion of the Piano Normal Course, and a Certificate of membership for the New England Conservatory Alumni Association.
